I search for different job opportunities every week on indeed.com for myself as well as my parents and families I work with each day. I’ve seen a lot of educational jobs posted lately due to school ending soon.





Education Specialist I (KEE000047) 

Description



This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.





1.        Receives, processes, verifies eligibility, and approves/disapproves requests for TA and other affiliated documents to support the TA Program.

2.        Initiate/update/record personnel information/transactions in the AFAEMS and MilPDS.

3.        Assists with non-resident PME enrollment requests and information retrieval using the CDSAR.

4.        Processes requests for CCAF Web Progress Reports, CCAF and official college transcripts.

5.        Assists with maintaining educational data in the AFAEMS and providing statistical information on programs and operations.

6.        Provides timely and up-to-date information concerning educational and career development opportunities using the AFVEC and other media to include, but not limited to the base newspaper, bulletin, and base marquees.                                      

7.        Develops flyers, pamphlets, and multimedia materials to promote and inform of educational and related programs.

8.        Assists with preparation/conducting of educational briefings for groups or units to promote educational programs.

9.        Receives and directs telephone calls and visitors to the appropriate staff or office.

10.     Coordinates and schedules appointments (to include, but not limited to counseling and testing).

11.     Routes and distributes mail to the appropriate offices and individuals.

12.     Some receptionist or clerical duties may be performed, to include: Preparing and processing correspondence, reports, and forms; operating office equipment (i.e., computer, printer, fax, photocopy, or scanner machine); helping customers and answering telephones.

13.     Maintain files of correspondence, directives, instructions, and other publications.

14.     Complies with policies, directives, instructions, and procedures.

15.     Assists with all non-conformance, corrective, and preventative actions as directed.

16.     Provides the necessary assistance and support for special functions, special interest events, and projects.

17.     Assists in general housekeeping of common areas and work area/center.

18.     Performs additional duties as assigned in accordance with contractual, functional, and mission requirements.



Director of Development

I’ve recently taken the course to become a director and this job interest me being oversee of the Obesity Research institute.



This role will design, execute and lead a comprehensive development strategy for The National Diabetes & Obesity Research Institute (NDORI). The Director of Development will oversee all aspects of philanthropic activity and execute on both capital campaigns and ongoing fundraising efforts. She or he also will form and manage NDORI’s development team.



Minimum of seven years of experience in successful fundraising, with an emphasis on direct major gift solicitation in a campaign environment. Experience in sales or other related field may offset total years of experience.



Education

Bachelor's Degree required.

Academic Instructor

Working for the climb is something that has always interested me because you would work closely with adults that are trying to better there selves. These students are a part of climb and job core.

This position is for an Academic Instructor with a community development agency location in Gulfport, MS. Must be able to provide classroom and non-traditional learning environment to teach basic skills to students with varying academic levels while integrating Alternative High School Diploma program, GED skills, reading and math skills, social justice and community issues, and culture (See All including math, reading, language arts, social studies, and science). Requirements and Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in education or related field; A minimum of two years of experience teaching basic skills to high school students, young adults, or adults.

  1. Hi Chaundrea, good job search I also, go to the same sight to seek employment. I work as a teacher in the two year old classroom, I really enjoy the children. Unfortunately the owner is the director and the sister works in human resources and the father is CEO of the company. There is no room for advancement. My plans was to find a job as director, I am sure it won't happen here. The place is truly not what I wanted, but in order to move on I am going to find myself another job with bigger opportunities. thanks for sharing
