Measurement
Everyone deserves a chance to learn and show their capability.
Not all children learn the same or is on the same level in the school district.
Testing can prove level their child is own and also show their skills. A lot of
children don’t like testing but they have to be reminded not all tests are to
affect them. I think that children ability to be measured individually. You
have different people, race, sex, and language. Why wouldn’t you measure them individually?
You have some fast learners and some slow learners but that doesn’t mean they
are slow. Standardized tests are designed to enable us to compare the
performance of students in a relatively efficient way(

Growing up to fast, grown and wouldn’t mind parents can lead
to something you never want to hear. While growing up, someone that I was close
to suffered many diseases to due to the lack of obedience. The diseases was not
curable only could be treated. After she found out about the disease she
thought people would get her information from her file at the school and spread
her illness. Every day she would come to me crying and saying “only if I would
have listened to my mother I wouldn’t be in the situation I’m in right now”.
I’ve always heard about the disease AIDS coming from Africa
So I decided to do my research on it. Some of the disease that’s in Africa
comes from insects, hepatitis B, HIV and Rabies. Some children are born with
these diseases. Traveling plays a part in the Diseases in Africa as well.

breatfeeding
Breastfeeding
is the best source of milk for babies. It’s not processed its coming directly
from the mom and you will be eating off of what she eats and that should be
healthy eating. A lot of new mothers are beginning to breast feed. Personally,
If I could have I would’ve love to breast fed my son. It’s not only healthy for
the baby but also the mother. With the way technology is improving you have
great pumps now to make breastfeeding easier, less painful and faster way to
get milk out of breast. Also, with breast milk you can pump so much and freeze
it for up to six months. Being that I wasn’t able to breastfeed, my baby is on
similac advance and I don’t feel he gets all of the nutrients that he need because
of his weight. I encourage all mothers to breast feed if you can.
Breast-feeding Associated With 45% less Obesity in Japan
Breast feeding is healthy and I’ll keep weight off of you and
helps that child to gain gain gain. You have to be careful of what you eat as
well as be comfortable. If you’ve drink a beer I think it should be not break feed
that neighs because you don t want to introduced that’s bad think that’s happing.

birth experience
I
can remember this like it was yesterday. October 23, 2012 at 3:44p.m. I gave
birth to my first son. The entire 9 months of being pregnant was AWESOME. I
enjoyed every moment and day of being pregnant. I was so afraid when my water
broke at 5 a.m. I almost panic because I didn’t know what to do, and was afraid
I would be in the hospital alone because I knew my husband had class and my mom
was at work. Once my water broke, I walked around the house in circles
basically trying to decided which way to go because bags wasn’t packed, it was
cold outside and I was in shock and afraid. The arrival at the hospital wasn’t as
bad as I thought but once I got connected to my ivs and begin taking the pain
medicine my nervous calm down. Well you know when everything is going goof
someone has to mess that up. My doctor was so mean and rude to me because I was
in pain, crying and barely breathing. Lesson learned from that situation I don’t
plan to deliver there again. I begin pushing and this was the hardest part to
me. I had an epidural and only one some of my body was taking the medicine
well.. Pushing, Pushing and Pushing my baby head finally came out but of course
the doctor wasn’t there just the nurse so my husband and mom was holding my leg
and I couldn’t feel it so I almost closed my legs with my baby head out but I didn’t.
As I continued to push and push my baby out he had no response when he first
came out the womb. My heart dropped, and I begin praying. My baby oxygen was
low so they put him on oxygen and finally got a response. Also, my baby was air
lifted to Jackson, MS the same night because his sugar was low. I hadn’t never
seen him, touched him, held him or nothing and they come telling me he had to
go my heart was broken into pieces. After all a day later, I got to my son and
we stayed in the hospital for a week and came on home. Now he is 10 months and
a healthy and active baby. Reasoning being that I wanted to discuss my birthing
was because this is my first child and I was so excited for me and my family.
In
Germany, The biggest baby was born and no c section was needed. I applaud her for
being able to push out an 13 pound baby. This isn’t a shocking to me because I have
a sister who baby was 11 pound but she had to have an c section. Being that a
15 pound baby was delivered naturally is shocking to me because you have all
type of women that want children and can’t get them.

Code of Ethic
Listed below you will find three ideals that was founded
in the NAEYC code of ethics that interest me most. The reason why these three
were selected is because I believe in helping children. Being a foster child
can be hard so I will make sure that the child is safe and also up to date physically,
emotionally and mentally. Also, I realize that not all children are the same or
come from the same cultural. I will respect that by recognizing their cultural
throughout different ways/activities. I will encourage all to get involved in
the community and interact because it’s different ways to network in the world and
being a people person is one.
I-1.5—To
create and maintain safe and healthy settings that foster children’s social,
emotional, cognitive, and Physical development and that respect their dignity and
their contributions.
I-1.10—To
ensure that each child’s culture, language, ethnicity, and family structure are
recognized and Valued in the program.
I-2.9—To participate in building support networks for families by
providing them with opportunities to interact with program staff, other
families, community resources, and professional services.

My granny always checked on me in school to make sure I was doing what I needed to do to go forward.

Photo of self, story about a child that touched your heart, and quote that meaningful to me
Photo of Self
The photo below was taken December 15, 2012. On this picture I was prepared to go walk across the stage. This day was very important to me because I received my Bachelors of Science on this day.
Story about a child that touched your heart
September 2012 I begin my intern and became attached to my students. Well at the time I was 8 months pregnant and it started getting rough due to the fact I was tired all the time and also hot. Nevertheless I had tons of fluid on my body so you can only imagine. Well `I had one student whose mom was pregnant and I guess she was having the same symptoms. My student came to school one Monday morning and leaned on my shoulder and said Mrs. Chaundrea, I've been praying for you and also the baby. I just want you and my mommie to have healthy babies. He said I know it can be rough but you Can do it. I tell this story to many people's because it was amazing to hear these words from a 2 year old. Then on, he continued to tell me every Monday Mrs. Chaundrea I've been praying for you. This is something that will stick with me forever because praying doesn't have a age on it but to hear this from a 2 year old was totally unexpected.
Meaningful quote
The only thing worth stealing is a kiss from a sleeping child. : Joe Houldsworth
I fell in love with this quote because I had my first born October 23, 2012 and being a mother is the BEST joy alive. Stealing kisses from the little one while sleeping is the cutest thing. Stealing is a crime but not stealing kisses from your sleeping child.
