Learning ever stops or get old. I always heard family and friends
talking about the harsh things kids experience in Africa and I was in denial
about it. I always wondered was the Television of feed the children real or was
they trying to gather money. However, it seems as if all my wondering and
dreams are all come out and truthfully. Children in West African experience the
worst of this thing called LIFE. Children are orphanages by AIDS in West
Africa. UNICEF hopefully will continue working with this Country so that
they can become better.
Chaundrea,
ReplyDeleteIt is very sad to read about the condition of life for these children. It is so hard to imagine living in a world where children are forced to live and try and survive like this. It is heartbreaking to realize that this type of life is a reality for some, and not al children living like this are that far away. There are sadly, situations just like this in our own backyard. We, as educators must do our best to improve the lives of our children in any way that we can.
Chaundrea,
ReplyDeleteThe commercials instantly come to mind and its so sad. The children, The parents. The environment. Skin and Bones. aahh, heartbreaking. I cant imagine the living conditions or having a child in those conditions. Have you seen the people who come in plan activities and play with the children, bring them items. I know its not helping everyone but schools are being built too! I think the "happy" times are not as advertised because they are far between and the sad and bad times occur more often.
